Description
1928 $5000s represent a fraction of the known $5000 FRNs. The "majority" of surviving 5K notes are from the 1934 Series. This 1928 Atlanta 5K is a "discovery note," new to the census, and represents a new serial number to the collecting fraternity. This (redeemable in gold clause) 5K is a key type note rarely made available to the advanced collector / investor.
